Sockeye Homes built this custom home (classified as an Accessory Dwelling Unit, aka "A.D.U.")
for a customer seeking a contemporary retreat. This home is the largest A.D.U. permitted in King
County. Sockeye Homes managed the complicated utility modification process associated with
building this A.D.U. on this steep-sloped very narrow site. Sockeye Homes also completed the
engineering and ensured the construction could support the home-owner's future vision of
adding a 3rd floor and roof-deck with an elevator.

Homeowner says: "This house is perfect for entertaining or relaxing. With 2 huge common areas, there is plenty of space to visit with family and friends. We are extremely satisfied with everyone from Sockeye Homes so we decided to hire them again to build us a detached shop building!"
