Thank you for considering Sockeye Homes for your project. I’ve been blessed with thousands of happy customers in nearly two decades from where I first started to this day. It’s a testament to our great team, price and attention to quality. But we’ve had one dissatisfied client. Had we known (of course we later found out…) that this person makes his living by suing or legally black-mailing his neighbors, sellers of the properties, contractors and insurance companies as a legal & property investment guy, we would’ve never taken on the project. But everything happens for a reason. Because of that client, we learned something positive. Interviewing is a two-way street. As much as you want to find out about us, we want to get to know you. And if we find that you and we are not seeing eye-to-eye on the goal (that is for YOU to enjoy the home we build or remodel; not to flip it for profit), we should not be engaged in the project. After all, building you your dream custom home or remodel is much more than a builder/homeowner relationship. It takes a trusted partnership with honesty and openness to communicate (much like a marriage!).
