1) Site Visit, Measurement and Needs Assessment: Our design team will come to your home and conduct an in-depth assessment of your space and your needs. You will discuss how you would like to use the space and what is currently working/not working. During this visit we will also take measurements of the existing space. Our lead construction manager will also be on hand during this initial meeting to ensure structural and budgetary constraints are considered. This is critical to ensuring the design options created and feasible within your budget.

2) Design Option Creation and Review: Based on the information provided in the needs assessment, two or three design configurations (Samples: Opt#1, Opt#2, Opt#3) for the space are created. During the design option review, our designer and construction manager review the different options with you. This includes a discussion of the cost differences associated with each plan. During this review, you will provide feedback around any changes you would like to see as well as which plan you like best.

3) Final Plan Updates and Electrical Plan: Following the design review meeting, our designer will incorporate the changes you requested into the final plan. We can also create an electrical plan for your space to show where electrical outlets, switches and fixtures could be located. At the end of the design phase you will have a Final plan in AutoCAD with electrical designations. We can also provide cross section views of particular parts of the space to help you visualize exactly what your area will look like.

Our Drafting and Engineering Services: If your plan requires drafting or engineering, our drafting and engineering team will create a full set of permit-ready, structurally-engineered plans. Our drafters and engineers are highly trained professionals with extensive on-site experience. This is critical in eliminating problems that often arise during construction due to inexperienced drafters and engineers.
