- Your remodel / addition / custom home is straightforward and the
space you have to work with is well defined. You have a pretty
good idea of what you want.

- Your design ideas drive Sockeye's initial design. You have 2
review sessions to revise / modify the plans prior to finalization.
Sockeye Homes' designers will turn your ideas into CAD plans
that are ready for permit.

- Sockeye's Interior Design Coordinators will be there every step of
the way to help you coordinate layout, colors and materials for
cabinetry, countertops, floor coverings, tile-work and fixtures. The
design coordinators will lead you through individualized
one-to-one showroom visit.
- Space Planner
- Deliverables: 2 to 3

- Your remodel / addition / custom home design poses some
challenges and you need ideas for the space. You want to see
different options for configuring the space.

- Our Lead Space Planner will gather information about your
needs and create different options based on your input and her
experience. Having a professional with 25 years of experience in
space planning and Interior Design (a five-time MAME Award
recipient) will give you the confidence that you are "getting it done
right."

- Sockeye's Interior Design Coordinators will assist you with all of
your interior selections and will lead you through one-to-one
showroom visits. If you want to further enhance your interior
design experience, additional help may be enlisted from our
Space Planner / Interior Designer (*additional charges may apply
and are project specific).
- Architect
- Deliverables: Several
Options of Prelim Designs,
Full Set of CAD Plans and
Structural Engineering
- Your remodel / addition / custom home project is complicated
and requires the attention of a Licensed Architect.

- Our A.I.A. Licensed Architect gathers information about your
needs and creates different design options based on your input,
his experience and the surround environment of the home. Our
Architect method saves you money compared to most others by
having him work only on the conceptual designs. This method
provides you with a fixed cost on the design process rather than a
standard fee schedule most architects are accustomed to;
charging based upon the percentage of construction cost or by
his/her time. The Sockeye Homes Construction Team works with
the architect during the design process to ensure the design stays
within your budget and draws all necessary structural, cross
sectional and site plans for building permit.

- You may have the Architect provide the interior design and
coordination or have Sockeye's Interior Design Coordinators
assist you with all of your interior selections and lead you through
individualized one-to-one showroom visits.
All too often, customers come to contractors with plans they purchased or had designer /
architect create. The design for the home may fall within the overall budget; however,
unfortunately in most cases, site work costs (vary greatly due to utility availability, topography,
soil content, environmental issues such as wetlands, etc.) and jurisdictional (such as city
specific) code requirements are not taken into consideration during the design process. When
you work with the Sockeye Homes Design Team, our construction team works hand-in-hand
with our design team to ensure the OVERALL construction cost stays within your budget.
